Tips for accessing the red DFI connector on a 2023 KLR adventure

Does anyone know how to reach the red DFI connector on a 2023 KLR Adventure without removing the right fairing, I've got T-Rex crash bars installed and want to avoid taking those off too. I can see the red connector, does it zip tie or clip in?

Had the same issue on my 2023 KLR Adventure with SW-Motech bars. The red DFI connector is clipped in, not zip-tied, but it's a tight squeeze. I used a long flathead to gently pop the clip loose without removing the fairing. A small mirror helped me see what I was doing. Good luck!

You don't need to remove the fairing, just work it from the top. It's held in place with a small zip tie, not a clip, so carefully snip the tie and you can unplug it
