I wish I had done this thermo bob mod for my '22 650 sooner, but its whatever, better late than never, for anyone on the fence or still figuring out what it actually does, I recommend over and over again, the stock cooling setup lets the engine run way too cold in cooler temps or at highway speed, and you can really feel the difference once the thermostat starts doing its job properly. Before installing it, my temp gauge barely moved unless I was crawling in traffic or idling for a while but now it settles in faster and actually stays in the optimal range,
I know some folks say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," but this feels like one of those mods where Kawasaki got it just good enough to function, but not ideal for long-term engine health. Anyone else running a thermo bob? lets talk experiences, pros, cons whatever
